Kobra GLH

The Kobra GLH is a brand new ski to the Hendryxski family for this season. The name GLH might sound like a luxury version of a Volvo 240, But the Kobra is far from a station wagon, and the GLH stands for Goes Like Hell!

The inspiration for the Kobra was the wish to make a world cup ski.  A traditional world cup ski is very extreme and has a small window of use.  Most people can handle a slalom ski, but when stepping into a GS ski, most people don’t wear the boots designed for that ski. Unless you have a very narrow boot, you will boot out early on a traditional WC ski.

So when we designed the Kobra’s which is more or less a world cup performance ski, we took all things into consideration. We decided to make the ski a little wider under foot, gave it a more relevant turning radius. Added a super low progressive rocker in the tip and tail, made it flat under foot and the construction & geometries are ultra race form.
So what you have in the end is a ski that is very agile with a very distinct grippy feeling on edge that breaks loose and pivots into a power slide on command.  Simply… It Goes Like Hell!
